I'm fixin' to grill up some nice-looking pork loin (family-farm sty-raised by a cousin in Dakota) while my New Best Friend messes up my kitchen sauteeing a bunch of veggies...

Stolies and tonic on the side.

Wish me luck!

Supper yesterday: hot dogs, steaks, shrimp, asparagus, squash, cherry tomatoes, corn, potatoes and mushrooms. I got blue cheese crumbles as a steak topping also.

Breakfast this morning: Homemade breakfast sandwich made with with torilla, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, shredded cheese and salsa. Washed down with plenty of hot coffee!!

Eatin' good in the neighborhood!! LOL!

Bucatini all'amatriciana: thick bucatini pasta in a sauce made from guanciale (cured pork similar to pancetta but made from the jowl), San Marzano tomato, onion, crushed red pepper flakes, and finished with extra virgin olive oil. Garnished with plenty of grated Pecorino Romano cheese (a sharp, salty sheep's milk cheese) and thin slices of fresh jalapeno for extra kick!

Szechuan Beef from around the corner.  Not until I had finished did I realise I'd forgotten to open the prawn crackers that were meant to accompany it.  I've now finished them too and feel sick. icon_razz
