Title: 78H / 8H Handslide/Tuning Slide Receivers
Post by: elmsandr on Mar 01, 2017, 11:26AM
Are these the same parts?  Handslide receiver and male small tuning slide receiver?  Potential project is to make a modular valve section to mate with a 78H.  (yes I know it would probably make more sense just to get a 79H bell section, working on that, too, just collecting options).

Cheers,
Andy

I don't believe so.

The 78H is a 0.525" bore,  so a tad smaller than an 8/88H. Hand slide receiver is different per Allied parts catalog.

Probably quite a bit of slice & dice to make it work.

I have an 8H/88H and a 79H and you cannot trade slides.

isnt  open for a pass
