No you fool! Andrew Scheer. Not Ed Sheeran.

Too bad. Ed could have joined the former Conservative leader, Mr. Harper, in a Beatles medley. Maybe Mr. Scheer's fellow candidate, Bonnie Raitt, could have joined in.

Andrew appears to have spent his adult years - he's 38 - playing politics. Little in the way of real world experience (he seems to have worked briefly in an insurance firm after graduating from uni before finding work as an MP's assistant). Professional politician.

At least Mr Trudeau had a career outside politics before being elected to the House of Commons and serving as an MP, before being elected leader of the Liberals and eventually prime minister. Maybe a high school drama teacher and ski instructor might not be considered a traditional path to political power, but, compared to, say, being a real estate developer/reality TV star, who can say? At least, he isn't a buffoon who has made us [more of] an international laughingstock.

A trombone is not measured by it's name.

Who?  Ed?  Andrew?

Never heard of them.  Do they play trombone?

Never look at the conductor. You just encourage them.

Have you noticed, some folk never stick around to help tidy up after practice?
