I have been working out of Bob McChesney's Technical Studies book for a while and have been loving the progress I have been making as a result. The only issue that I am really running into using his book is in his Progressive Slurs section. It seems like now that I am on week 4 I am having difficulty tonguing the F and E below the staff at these faster speeds (Half note=112) Any advice on how to get these lower tones to speak?

Make sure you're not using jaw movement to articulate those notes, as that'll really slow down the response of the tone. The jaw won't be able to keep up with the tongue at faster speeds in a way that seems to work just fine at lower speeds up until you hit a wall.
