I don't understand why you feel that way. But you know what, I'm not going to spend my time after this to go round and round with you about this. Just leave my name out of your posts.

Your name is all over your posts.  And you spend your time here lying, and then defending those lies.  Stop.  All you've got to do is stop.

More on that "coffee boy," George Papadopoulos...

Quote
The fiancee of George Papadopoulos said the former Trump campaign adviser was far more involved in the campaign than Trump and other high-level officials have tried to make it seem...

Quote
“First of all, I would love George to learn how to make coffee because it’s absolutely out of his skills,” she told ABC in an interview that published Friday. “George is a remarkable young man with incredible experience in the field of energy and oil policies. This experience led him to get into the campaign and to advise the President at only 28-years-old.”

She said Papadopoulos set up meetings “all over the world” and was “constantly in touch with higher level officials in the campaign.” She said she has seen emails between her fiancé and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who was also charged last week with one count of lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian officials.

“He never took any initiative, as far as I know, unauthorized,” she said. “He never took any initiative without the blessing of the campaign.”

Uh, that’s not what she said.

She wrote the date after the signature. We knew that. Or do you think that Moore wrote “merry Christmas 1977” signed his name and then wrote the exact date?

However, I see that the headline writers are having their exact effect on the willfully stupid population.

Cheers,

Moore's lawyer is claiming that Moore didn't write the "DA", which sound to me like he's admitting Moore wrote the rest of it.  Yeah, RIGHT.

All she added was the date and place and Moore had already written the date anyway.

Keep trying. Look, wouldn't be easier to just admit that he's on your side and you don't really care if the allegations are true, rather than embarrassing yourself by spouting all this BS?

I'm still waiting in vain for your example of how you've applied your 'honest' skepticism toward rape victims without regard to the political beliefs of the accused. If you respected women, you'd be offended by their abuse instead of calling the victims liars and defending the rapists.

He’s not trying. That’s the point. He’s peddling lies as truth.

The lack of any semblance of morality or integrity among the Trump supporters and apologists is disturbing.

They have a very simple philosophy:  Anything is moral as long as it makes money (for me).

Apropos...

Trump is losing (some) white evangelicals

Quote
...Journalists have found this support something of a mystery as well as a scandal, given Trump’s personal lack of religious knowledge or commitment and his flagrant personal behavior. Since taking office, the persistent question has been: How can this faith community, once emblemized by an organization called the Moral Majority, support such a person?

The answer, it seems, is maybe not as much as we thought. According to a new Pew survey, since February Trump’s job approval among white evangelicals has gone down 17 points, from 78 percent to 61 percent.

This drop is more than twice the size of the decline (39 percent to 32 percent) in Trump’s overall approval rating. Indeed, it is the largest point decline of any demographic group measured in the survey. By contrast, support among mainline Protestant slipped by just three points, from 49 percent to 46 percent.

His support has collapsed all the way down to mere landslide proportions.

Except we're told that many of his supporters have fallen behind economically. I suppose they are still clinging to the hope that Trump is going to come through for them. I suppose there might still be workers and small contractors who think they're going to be paid for the work they did and the materials they supplied to Trump Corp projects.

Liberals have always been moral people.  Often overly so.  Morals, as we had discussed previously in another thread, related to a genuine desire to be good people and look after, well everything.  It's been their schtick for a long time and it's sometimes annoying.  That said, they are a helluva lot easier to take than the extreme right whacks.

Pundits have noted that conservative voters aren't voting their pocketbook, they are voting on social issues.

Gays, guns, gynecology and race.

If Trump doesn't come through for them on economics it won't matter as long as he does the hot button issues they are mad about.
