I see on Doug Yeo's site he has a discography listening all the solo bass trombone records he knows of. Is there any similair listing for recordings that feature the classical tenor? I'm looking for a list of recordings after Arthur Pryor and before the 1970's onslaught of orchestral players who did solo albums.
Davis Shuman, Viktor Batashov, Henry Charles Smith, Keith Brown, John Swallow, Stuart Dempster, Vinko Globokar, etc. Wouldn't it be nice to have these itemized and sorted by date?

Victor Talking Machine Co
Camden NJ

Does anyone know anything about this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=306&item=4068046092&rd=1
It's a 12" 78rpm of Phil Moore's Orchestra playing something called "CONCERTO FOR TROMBONE" featuring Murray McEachern. That would certainly merit inclusion in my list.
I agree that it would be cool to get hands on these. Does the ITA ever do reissues of old recordings like the ITG does?

I couldn't see the picture with the auction, but this could be the legendary recording of the Nathaniel Shilkret Concerto, which was supposed to be recorded with Tommy Dorsey, but they couldn't get together for the date.  I had read it was recorded with McEachern.

If that's the case, this is a very rare bird!!
