We have a YSL 643 in our shop, it's been here for a bit.  It's missing a bearing plate.  Allied doesn't have it listed in their catologue for parts.  Anybody know of a compatible part for this?

We don't have a lathe going here and I'd rather not attempt to make it...

Dennis, what do you call a bearing plate?  A valve cap?

If yes, I think they are pretty standard, I changed my 4B' against the one of the Conn 52H I had, just for the look of it!  Pant

no, I was referring to the plate underneath the cap that holds the short end of the rotor.

Looks like a large coin with a hole in the center

I only have a few yamaha parts around, no tenor rotors...

Have you called Yamaha?  Make sure you have the serial #.

Is it not on the Yamaha parts CD?  I would look but our CD just expired last month. BTW, no luck with calling Yamaha parts today, they are on vacation until Tuesday.

I just sent instructions to Acme.
If any one else needs the instructions to use their expired Yamaha CD, please PM your e-mail address & I'll forward it.

Thanks
