Danny Seraphine's killer CTA album "Sacred Ground" may have lit a fire under Chicago's a$$e$, because they're doing new originals for the first time since 2006.

The first single release, "Somethin' Comin', I Know"--a Robert Lamm tune (written with America's Gerry Beckley)--can be found here:

If you picked up Chicago's new single "Somethin' Comin', I Know" and you want to play along, the 'bone part's attached here in PDF.

What, you haven't gotten the song yet?  Eeek!

Cheers!

I'm hoping they actually come out with a CD.Not a fan of downloading one song at a time as they are released. The video of the recording session they put out today was kinda cool though. lotsa Pankow and horns.

Just transcribed/arranged "Movin' In," the opener on CHICAGO II.  Bone part attached here for those interested--an improvement over the book version.

Many thanks, Bill!  Just got Chicago II a week ago, and this tune for me sums up what music is supposed to be about: bringing happiness and joy to the world.

Bill,

Are you still offering .pdf transcriptions of Chicago (Pankow) 'bone parts?  If so, could you e-mail them to me?... Patmcf@midiowa.net.

Thanks.

Haven't checked in for a while...I've kinda put the bone only book in rear view mirror and am concentrating on full band arrangements these days, so there's nothing new yo offer.

Still, I'll send out 'the book' for free....PM me if I've missed your request.

Hi gang! Long time player, first time poster.  Hi

Possible to receive a copy of this amazing Pankow collection?

(amazing based upon all the posts in this thread, which I did read)

PM has been sent, but I see it's been a couple years ... yikes!

Perhaps someone else who received it can forward to me?  Lifelong student hoping to learn. Thanks so much!  Way cool
