Wondering if parenthetical comments count.

Waiting to do an interview.

RHM, it's after 8 PM there.  Why can't you go home?

Everything has gone wrong today.

[It took me all afternoon to get one piece of equipment working, so I then tried to do an experiment with it, which wasn't successful. I'm now trying to check that another piece is working, but I suspect it isn't. I think I'll go home anyway!]

RHM, Illigitemi non Carborundum Estas

I've had days like that.  I spent a whole afternoon building a deionization module to find out I had aligned it wrong and no water would flow through   I just couldn't bring myself to rebuild it that day; fixed it in about an hour the next :)

Please.  Don't use this as an excuse to do more than your standard units of alcohol!

Tomorrow you will look at the equipment and the problem will jump out at you.  It will be fixed in a trice!

Finally home and sitting down.

[I hope so, Bruce! Anyway, home now and delicately sipping my second unit of the day. I'm very happy to put in extra hours (even though there's no overtime payment!) when I'm on a roll and don't want to stop because everything is going swimmingly. However, I DO object to working a 12 hour day and achieving precisely nothing!]
