I can't believe I saw blossoming trees yesterday.

I can remember getting snow in Febuary here in the Seattle area.  It just seems a little un-natural to see flowers popping up and trees budding out and blooming in early Feb.

Anyone else seeing this happen in the Northern US?

35 in Orlando, HaHaHa,

Well unless the citrus crop gets ruined.  That would suck for a lot of people.

I hope WA states agriculture doesn't get ruined by a late hard freeze.

As long as the temperature doesn't fall below freezing for at least a couple of hours, the citrus crop can usually survive.  I remember an overnight temperature of 28 in Lake Mary, FL and they lost 1/3 of the trees.

I had knee surgery one year and they took me home in early March.  It was snowing lightly.  It continued to 18 inches.  I had to shovel the driveway with a brace on my knee, including that huge pile of snow the plow leaves at the end of the driveway.

This season we got our big snow at Halloween (I hope).

We had a couple of cold days, but it should go back to normal (for this year) tomorrow.

Here in mid-coastal Ory-gone it's been in the 60's or high 50's pretty much all "winter."  We had a couple of Class 6 Winter Storms (we're talking 80-90 mph winds and horizontal rain), but, by and large, seems like Old Man Winter is vacationing in Florida.  A band buddy reported Northern Orioles in her backyard and I need to quit writing this to go mow the lawn.  Global warming? I report, you decide.

Cheers,

That wouldn't, by any chance, be the courteous, hard working neighbors who are asleep by 10:30 so they can start mowing at 5:30?   Evil

Here in northeastish Texas, winter's been pretty kind, though the past couple of days have been just cold enough to be irritating.  It's been, more or less, a return to normal after a truly miserable couple of years.

In some places here in the US it's the first beer can of spring (tossed out on the street/road).
