I used to get stitches pretty often when running, but never while playing trombone. 

Until yesterday.  It's exactly the same feeling in the same spot.  Showed up while working out on the second and third partials.  So I put it away for the day as rest/walking always cured the running stitch. 

But it's still there today.  What the? 

So now I'm out of ideas...

It's exactly like running too soon after eating.  Same spot.  Same feel.

The stitch in running is caused by drinking too much.  Is it possible you were imbibing while playing?

Seems to me, if it's still there the following day, after a good rest, it might be something else. If it persists, get it checked....

Well, good news.

I think the bumper snicker reads, "Movement Happens", or something to that effect.

It's been so long for an episode of constipation I'd forgotten what it felt like. Fwiw, I think I got it going by massaging pretty firmly into the path of th large intestine, especially lying on my left side which seemed to make the painful area accessible.
