The Spell Check is getting really slow! I might even have to learn how to spell if this goes on. :/

I don't trust spell checkers. They let you know when a word is wrongly spelled, but NOT if it's a correctly spelled word wrongly placed. I've seen some awful examples of this, many of them (unfortunately!) let out by the publicity guy at my institute.

It has now given up the ghost almost entirely. So much so as to be useless because it just takes too long to come up. This may be part of the general complaints about slowness.

I don't even use the TTF Spell Check.  Both Google Chrome and Firefox have built-in Spell Check so everything but trombone jargon is covered.  All you really need to learn to spell is "embouchure".

I didn't even realize that TTF had a spell check until now.
I either spell things right in my computer, or type on my iPod with autocorrect which can be an issue sometimes.
Besides my computer keyboard is semi broken so...

It has now given up the ghost almost entirely. So much so as to be useless because it just takes too long to come up. This may be part of the general complaints about slowness.

I did discover after my previous posts that, if you give the Spell Check an extra left click of the mouse, the window does appear a lot quicker. However, that was not the way it worked previously.

There is one other bug with the spell checker. Sometimes it highlights a part of a work that has the correct spelling, such as the 'th' of the word 'the'. It seems to think there is a space that really is not there.

And I still do not have any thumbnails in my gallery after April 18th 2012. These days there is just an 'X'. However, if you click the 'X', you get the full size picture. If someone would have a look at my gallery and tell me if they see the same thing:

Sorry, I am not interested in the general comments on the use of spell checks. I was just reporting a few fairly recent bugs in the forum software. Possibly it has something to do with Windows 7 or a 64-bit operating system, but I don't really know the cause. Don't know
