To everyone, especially experienced members, thank you.

I have been looking the past few days/week regarding mouthpieces, bore's, trombones.

After a 20 year+ break, I am playing bass parts on my Conn Symphony from the 70's (pretty sure now its an 88H)
I was playing a 5GB mouthpiece and trying a 1 1/2G now - better low range

The info everyone puts on the site from mouthpieces, instruments, etc has answered most my questions.

THANKS!!

Thats a really big mouthpiece for a tenor. Its usually used for bass trombone or fake basses on large tenors.

Why dont you try something a bit smaller like a 4G or 3G even? Cause 5G to 1.5G is a pretty big change and your high register generally gets harder with something that big
