Is it possible to limit the topics that appear when I log into this forum? I only come here for trombone info, and would prefer not to have to wade through lists of political, religious, or other non-trombone discussions. If I could mark ones that I'm not interested in so they didn't appear to me, that would help me find what I'm looking for.
   Thanks!

In your profile, look at the Ignore Boards preferences.

Many members choose to block Chit-Chat, Purely Politics, the Classifieds, etc.

Does that help?

My forum viewing has been much more pleasant since I made that change some months ago.  I can only imagine what's been going on in those forums lately.   Eeek!

Thanks Bruce. That should be a big help. I don't usually have a lot of time to spend on the forum, so it will be lots handier to see only those topics that might interest me.

I did that nearly as soon as I joined.

I did that years ago.  It's been nice to get to the point where I actually forgot "Purely Politics" existed.

(Now I have to forget all over again.   :D)
