I see a lot of fantastic comments posted through the threads here but every once in a while someone says something that makes me laugh at my laptop screen, MY challenge to you is to find the one that made you laugh to the most during this past year.

The Rules:

-You must quote the thread title

-You must name person who said the quote

-You must DIRECTLY quote them - No paraphrasing here Good!

My contribution

"I'm not sure what a "Teutonic" sound quality is, but I'm pretty sure Vincent Bach didn't resurrect a bunch of mideval German musicians and ask for their input on the 6.5AL piece."

Thread title: Help:, will this change my sound

Poster: Doug Elliott

You might be surprised at the small things that can change response and sound.

I had a horn that played bad because of a misspelling in the engraving (it was an Old's, with the extra apostrophe). Everyone who played it noticed.

If you think having an apostrophe is bad, I've heard that a period is a bloody mess.
