Try one out! I did, but I don't care for the sound of the stainless steel. I know lots of players that love it though...

Just to clarify, we do not make trombone mouthpieces in stainless steel. We make them in silver and gold plated brass, and in black Delrin plastic. We will soon be introducing Acrylic models as well. We only offer stainless for trumpet tops.

That was a very timely clarification. I know that my trumpet top was made of stainless steel, so I wondered if my trombone mp is also made of stainless steel - the appereance can be deceiving.

Well, it's a few weeks since my 14 April post and I have tried the Wedge in my Olds Recording for several rehearsals with our soul/blues band - as well as practice sessions. Suffice to say it's a keeper. Did a play through of our show last night and it ticked all the boxes I needed. Using it in a gig for the first time next week.
