Hey,

just asking whats the history of Kings 100th Annniversary Silver Sonic models made in 1993. Is there something special compared to regular Silversonic or what?

I have King 3B SS anniversary model.

nothing special, other than the minimalist engraving.

Right. Although, they came with some canvas-covered cases too.

I received the 4B/F variant of this horn Christmas 1994.  Engraving was the "Silver Sonic" "1893-1993" going down the side of the bell.

Case had that early 90s color that seemed to be prevalent everywhere at the time.  Carpet, car paint, clothing ala: Forest Green

It also came with a special certificate denoting the 100th anniversary history of King.

There was another guy in a neighboring high school that had the 3B/F.

Very heavy horn, did not break up.  Pedal notes were far and wide.

I wish I still had that horn.
