I'm creating some new music that features the trombone (alto trombone) within environments of sampling, synthesis and sound design. I'm sending these out one each month for anyone who wants to hear them. The first one in the series is called Beyond the Fog. The trombone comes in after the "fog" lifts! You can go to altobone.com and sign up . I'll send you a new piece each month. Just trying to come up with something unique for the (alto) trombone.

I think this is cool!! It's a really nice spin on smooth jazz that takes it more of an R&B/hip-hop route. Really nice, Michael, I'm signed up!

Excellent!... and, inspiring (and I'm probably about your same age, much of the same musical experiences, etc. etc..... but, I'm not an alto player... at least not yet!... do love the sound and timbre for jazz)

I just checked out your website and your well-written, engrossing blogs. Thank you! (.. just signed up for you offer)

Looking forward to hearing more of your projects. (hmmm..... I'll be doing something like this myself.... gotta get the original music there somehow! Your blogs are very inspiring. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge like this!)
