I mean, the kid comes across as a yutz, but I've been listening to his latest, Purpose, and it really is an superb album (IMHO). Obviously, a lot of supremely talented people got together to produce this recording.

I thought the same thing. It's a very different album than his earlier stuff.

I'm lamenting the lack of Ludacris, though.

remember about a decade ago (or longer?) Justin Timberlake started producing serious R&B and hired a bunch of great musicians out of the gospel scene.

made some great tracks, his live tour was killing. it changed a lot of people's opinions about him.

thing is, JT was most decidedly not a yutz. Very talented, very respectful, incredibly gifted and a hard worker.

...thing is he didn't go out of his way to be an entitled jerk.

Biebs is still a yutz.

Actually, if you read up on Beeb's upbringing, you realize there's a pretty good reason he's a yutz.  And ten add millions of dollars.

oh yeah, i don't doubt it. I know he's a spoiled rotten brat, and I kind of feel bad for the kid. with a "normal" upbringing he'd probably be at a decent school practicing his butt off.  the kid has a lot of talent... but he's an adult now, no excuses for bad behavior regardless.
