There is a lot of ugliness in this country right now. It starts at the top.

The ugliness in the Democratic party is really just ignorance and indifference to the needs of their base.

There is much ugliness on the extreme right and on the extreme left, but they are not really part of either party.

I think that the corruption of Hillary and the Clinton foundation go to the very bottom of the democrat party, and their acceptance of the extreme leftist agenda.

Says the guy who supports the Trump Foundation, where he claims credit for other people's charitable contributions.  Hello Pot, Kettle here.

I'm not a Trump supporter. I would rather have had Cruz. But Trump doesn't come close to the Clinton family and their corruption or the extreme leftists.

I couldn't agree more.  To put it succinctly, the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans at this point in our nation's history is that the Democrats are generally clueless and the Republicans are generally evil.  There are specific exceptions on both sides of the aisle, but there are far more pols in office who fit those stereotypes.

I would say the democrat party is evil and the republicans are passivists surrendering to the corruption of the democrats.

There are two types of democrats:
1 - the deceived
2 - those that deceive

Seriously?  It wasn't one of the Clintons who founded a bogus "university" whose sole purpose was to bilk wannabe real-estate investors out of their hard-earned dollars.  It was Donald Trump.  The $25 Million that he paid to settle that ugly mess out of court wasn't nearly a large enough penalty, IMO.  Trump is also well known for saving money on his construction projects by cheating his subcontactors out of payments they earned and challenging them to take him to court, where they would have to do battle with an army of high-powered lawyers on Trump's payroll.

The clinton foundation eclipses anything that Trump ever did with his business deals.

One big stark contrast:
Trump businesses always dealt with his wanting to make profits. He never sold the country out.

Clinton's business deals personally and through the foundation, dealt with selling states secrets and privileges. Pay to Play. From Bill selling rocket technology to China in the 90's to Hillary selling to Russia, America's uranium. And just about everything in between. Clintons never owned any thing of their own to sell, so they had to resort to selling our stuff.

Snopes debunked the allegations that Hillary Clinton sold uranium to Russia in exchange for a donation to the Clinton Foundation.  Link: http://www.snopes.com/hillary-clinton-uranium-russia-deal/.  I presume you got that tidbit from a fake news organization such as Fox that the far right so dearly loves.

Until January of 2017, Trump was never in a position to sell the country out, so he kept busy stealing from people who weren't part of the 1%.  I expect that to change unless he's run out of office soon.  His business ethics have consistently been on a comparable level to the worst of the 19th-century robber barons.

Snopes has been snoped. LOL! It lost credibility along with CNN and MSNBC.

More fake news, no doubt from the Fox network ... which never had any credibility to lose.

Annenberg's Political Fact Check site confirms what Snopes said.  Trump was lying through his teeth about Hillary Clinton, as usual.  Even Richard M. "I am not a crook" Nixon didn't lie as often or as ineptly as Dolt 45 does.

There is plenty of proof of the uranium deal, and the payments to the foundation. You can keep going to your liberal fack chekers if you want. LOL!

Yeah, I heard even fox is losing "credibility" as a few of it's commentators choose to commentate against some of the things trump has said/done. Hard to find consistently "credible" sites these days that only report what you want to hear.

What do the conservative fact checkers say?

Oh wait, there aren't any.

Now, why do you suppose that is?

Alternative facts -- the kind that this administration likes best and dispenses frequently -- never need to be checked.  You just make them up as you go along.  That's why the GOP prefers them to absolute facts, which are verifiable and often inconvenient or uncomfortable.

I'm amused by the apostasy at Fox News, where a few of their talking heads have refused to go along with Trump's words and actions.  Trump must be asking himself how he can make Fox and other news outlets behave more like the Pravda and Izvestia of the Soviet era.  Let us hope that he doesn't come up with the correct answer to that question.

What do the conservative fact checkers say?

Oh wait, there aren't any.

Now, why do you suppose that is?

They have "fact" checkers--they're all "fact" checkers.

They check news for facts, and if they spot any that are inconvenient they slap a comforting label on them which is all the evidence they need to deny they're facts. Then they find the Alternative Facts™ to "validate" the denial. It's institutionalized intellectual cowardice done like it's never been done before, at least in terms of how proud the cowards are about it.

When you're too disinterested in taking honesty seriously to give your raw personal sentiments a second thought you aren't going to understand reasoning, and when you don't understand reasoning labels work just as well as actual arguments. On top of that, if you're sufficiently low on integrity you can in fact believe whatever you want to. If you're so self-absorbed your only functional standard for vetting information is how you and yours feel about it you simply have no tools to do the real job, and you don't care enough about what's actually true for any of these painfully obvious problems to even occur. So it really is institutionalized intellectual cowardice. This is the stuff The Deplorables are made of, and the stuff that's brought the world our cartoon president.

And, the "proof" of the uranium deal is that Clinton had nothing to do with it. State was a minor contributor in the process, and the sale was signed off on far down the foodchain from the Sec. State. Of course, that is a FACT, so DD won't recognize it.
