Okay, the shorter C clamps came in today. After 10 minutes, I was good to go! The shorter clamp has enough clearance, and it sits in the crotch of my thumb. Works like it's supposed to! Now I can actually hold my horn, rather than balancing it on my palm.

I can't say enough good things about their customer service. Mike went above and beyond. He only had one goal in mind, to make it work on my horn. He did! Maybe he now has a clamp to work on Mt Vernon triggers. I highly recommend them!
