Is it perhaps time to release some of the "sticky" threads around the forum?

For example, when I visit the instruments forum, there are 19 "sticky" threads, and only 11 regular, active threads on the one page.

We "sticky" stolen instrument reports.  I "unsticky" them when the instruments are recovered.  Some appear never to be.  I guess we should "unsticky" the ones that are quite old; they probably are gone to the melt pile.
