Australian rock legends Midnight Oil have announced their first world tour in two decades. The Great Circle 2017 world tour will begin in South America in April, take in the United States, Europe and New Zealand before performing at 18 venues around Australia in October and November.

This is one of the very best of Aussie groups and they promise to be "nastier then ever". :D

The band has a long history of political activism, with Indigenous and environmental issues particularly prevalent in their music. The band disbanded in 2002 and Peter Garrett became a politician and minister in the Kevin Rudd government. They have done the odd gig since then but have not performed together since 2010.

"May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay......forever young."
