The Queensland Conservatorium (Brisbane, Australia) will again host a star list of trombone faculty members for the Brisbane Lower Brass Weekend from 23-25 June 2017.

The 2017 trombone faculty members are:

David Bremner (Section Principal Trombone - New Zealand Symphony, Musical Director - Wellington Brass)
Scott Kinmont (Associate Principal Trombone - Sydney Symphony, Australian Brass Quintet)
Matthew Allison (Associate Principal Trombone - New Zealand Symphony)
Shannon Pittaway (Principal Bass Trombone - New Zealand Symphony, Australian Brass Quintet)
Jason Redman (Section Principal Trombone - Queensland Symphony)
Dale Truscott (Associate Principal Trombone - Queensland Symphony)
Tom Coyle (Principal Bass Trombone - Queensland Symphony Orchestra)
Ben Marks (Trombonist - ELISION Ensemble)
Greg Aitken (Co-Chair of Brass - Queensland Conservatorium)

Participants will perform in solo workshops, ensemble workshops, brass band or contemporary music classes, in one of two professional orchestral sections for a section playing workshop, and in public concerts. For only $80 (adult) and $60 (concession) the three day event will be well worth the trip to Brisbane from overseas or interstate.
