I wonder what key it plays in.  Worst case scenario it plays as in tune as a Bach 39! Evil *I kid, I kid...*  :D

Trumpet bells are very short on the small side of the crook. In this case, it looks like he lengthened the trumpet bell by inserting the bell tail into a section of .500 tubing. Problem 1: That means that it's .500 through the slide and the neckpipe, but then it drops down to the trumpet's bore--probably around .460. Also, the ratio of conical tubing is wrong. The trumpet has the right length of conical tubing to play in Bb 8va above a trombone. Adding straight tubing will create problems.

I also wonder what key it plays in. Doesn't look like Eb.

I mailed him. He said the tuning is in Eb
