For sale is an immaculate 1976 Martin Urbie Green model (TR4501) tenor trombone.

This is a time capsule horn, which literally sat in its case in a closet for 40 years and appears never to have been played much.

It is essentially like a brand new instrument; the only sign of age is a few tiny brown dots that have appeared on the bell.  They arenít even visible unless youíre up close, but I have included a picture in which you can see them.

It has a gorgeous rose brass bell.  You can get an idea of the color if you look at the close-up of the bell in its case next to the silver and yellow brass colors of the slide nearby.

The lightweight nickel slide is fast and in good alignment, and shows no signs of wear.  The sound is clear and warm, and the horn is very responsive.  It feels solid in spite of being light.

Pictures are here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i0p80sxbcpdjnrg/AAC1xDvqMtCRGDpsKm-PGaaxa?dl=0

It comes in its original case, which also is basically like brand new.

$1600 plus shipping CONUS.
