Putting some feelers out there for a bass I am looking to sell.

Older Shires bass, thayer valves, LT single bore slide. Not the prettiest, maybe 96.33% lacquer. Valves need regular oiling (Hetmans light everyday or so keeps them fast for me). Slide maybe 8.75/10, could use a tune up (I have a guy!). Solid horn ready for all your community band needs. 😜

Bells: BII 1Y, 2RT7. Best of both worlds!
B2.5, B2L, and two B3 leadpipes (maybe cut one down for more fun?)
Newer C tuning slide.

RB bag and shipping included.

$3333 OBO.  Possible trades plus cash? I'm looking to add valves to an old Bach. What do ya got? Message or email me for pics and more info.

Thanks,
Mike

Hello,

I'm the guy who sent you an email on 19 May, 2017. I'd love to chat with you about your Shires bass. I'm located in Augusta, GA but I am from Denton, TX.

Upon my exit from the service, I will be returning to Denton, TX for school. I'd love to have this horn to play on as I make my way through my degree program.

Please email me at phllp_rios at yahoo dot com when you have the time.

Very best,

Phillip
